What to bring to riding

Kennolyn has riding boots and hard hats to fit campers from ages 6-14

RIDING BOOTS are required for all riding activities as a safety factor. If you choose to bring your own, we suggest a flat slip-on boot that can also be used for walking and hiking. No crepe soles please. Rubber riding boots are a great compromise and much less expensive. Local Pony Clubs and stables often have used boots for sale. (If you have outgrown your boots, feel free to donate them to our "Bootery".)

HARD HATS are required for horseback riding as a safety factor. We have an ample supply but for convenience, parents may wish to make this investment. Make sure the hat has the current approved safety tag (SEI) inside the crown. If you wish, Kennolyn will buy the hat from you at the end of camp at 50% of the cost if it has the SEI label and you have your receipt.

CLOTHING - All campers must wear long pants in all riding activities. Jeans or riding breeches are the appropriate attire.
